Dr. Laura Oyer

Laura Oyer, Ph.D., HSPP – Psychologist, Clinical Director

Dr. Laura Oyer received a Doctoral Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s of Arts Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Ball State University. She is a licensed psychologist in Indiana and Colorado and is endorsed as a Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP). Dr. Oyer has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults with disordered eating and body image issues in a variety of settings. She also has experience treating clients with substance abuse, trauma, depression, addictions, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, and self-harm behaviors. She utilizes an integrative approach, focusing on Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Experiential and Motivational Interviewing techniques. Additionally, Dr. Oyer values building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and families, as well as helping them feel empowered and find balance in their lives.


Tim LaGro

Tim LaGro, M.A., LMHC, LPC, LPCC

Tim graduated with a Master’s of Arts Degree in Clinical Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. He has been an Indiana state board approved Licensed Mental Health Clinician since March of 2016, the state of Michigan board approved Licensed Professional Counselor since May of 2016, and the state of Ohio board approved Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 2018. Tim has over five years experience counseling individuals, marriages, and families. He works with all ages but particularly enjoys helping other men, teens, and families. Tim also has experience working in the field of business before entering the mental health field, which some clients find helpful in working through work-life balance, stress, anxiety, and performance issues. Tim has extensive experience with defiant teenagers, mental health disorders, personality disorders, addictions, suicidality, oppositional defiance, school issues, and crisis management. Tim is thankful for God’s grace and faithfulness in his life. His heart is to share God’s love with others and to help them to find their purpose in life.



Shannon Brady, M.S. – Therapist

Shannon received her Master’s of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling, from the University of Saint Francis.  Shannon has experience working with all age and socio-economic groups in individual, family, marriage and group therapy.  Shannon has worked with adolescents, children and families who have serious emotional and behavioral problems. She has completed specialized training in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy and has done specialized work with people that have experienced incidents of trauma: including physical, sexual or emotional abuse, accidents, injuries or any life threatening event. She has experience helping with issues such as ADHD, behavioral issues, social skills, anger management and sexually inappropriate behaviors, along with chronic mental health issues. Shannon also has past experience working with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, providing individuals and groups with skills training and support. Additionally, Shannon has experience working with children and families within the Autism spectrum disorder to learn coping skills, provide tools, and support the parents.



Alicia DiGiulio M.A. LMHCA – Therapist

Alicia DiGiulio graduated from Huntington University with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA).  Alicia also earned a Master of Science degree in Education from Canisius College, and she previously taught middle/high school students. Alicia has a passion for working with children and adolescents struggling with behavioral and emotional issues including those with a history of trauma, anxiety, depression, and anger management difficulties.  Alicia has professional experience working on a variety of issues with individuals (children, adolescents, college students, adults), couples, and families.  Additionally, Alicia has previous experience utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with individuals and groups for skills training and support, and she has counseling experience with those who struggle with chronic mental illnesses as well as those with developmental disabilities.  Her warm and caring nature allows her to address difficult issues with clients, and she values the therapeutic relationship as one of trust and collaboration.  Therapy is provided from a variety of treatment modalities including client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, play therapy, and faith integration.



Tim Gileand, M.A. – Therapist

Tim Gilleand received his masters in professional counseling from Liberty University in 2014.  He has experience working with adults and adolescents in a variety of mental health needs including anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar, and more.  He also enjoys marital and premarital couples counseling.  Tim has been involved in various ministry positions for over 15 years, and is comfortable addressing spiritual concerns.  He brings a passion for forgiveness therapy and confidence building to empower our clients for future success.



Janae Webb, MS.Ed., LMFTA – Therapist

Janae graduated with a Master’s of Science degree in Education from Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who are suffering from anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, behavioral issues, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. She also has experience working with couples recovering from infidelity to rebuild trust and connection as well as helping families to improve communication and work together to resolve interpersonal issues. She has completed additional training in play therapy, the Gottman couples counseling approach, suicide prevention, and crisis prevention. Treatment modalities include cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, Gottman, restoration, narrative, play therapy, and faith integration. Janae has a passion for walking alongside individuals, couples, and families through emotionally and relationally difficult times to create long-lasting change, restore hope and to help them live their lives more authentically.


Sarah Armstrong

Sarah Armstrong, M.A. – Therapist

Sarah received her Master’s of Mental Health Counseling from Huntington University.  Sarah has over five years experience of working with youth and families.  She has worked with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and self-harm.  Additionally, Sarah works with families faced with addiction, trauma, and grief.  She walks along side individuals, couples, and families who are adjusting to changes or to loss.  Sarah has a passion for missions inside and outside the country.  Sarah integrates Biblical truths as she partners with individuals and families to find true healing.



Chad Eckert, M.A. – Family Coach

Chad Eckert has a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology with a concentration in Ecopsychology from Naropa University and is a certified Christian Life Coach. He has experience coaching individuals, families and young men. As a Family and Personal Life Coach, he seeks to help discover and re-discover God’s presence and plan in their life. He also focuses on helping reduce suffering and maximize potential, stress management, reconnecting to nature and developing a greater capacity to adopt responsibility necessary for personal development, growth, and change.



Jim Stoppenhagen, B.S. – Family Coach

Jim earned a BS degree from Purdue University and a two year Bible Certificate from Christian Training Center. For the past 35 years, he has focused helping at-risk youth and training others that want to do the same. In 1993 Jim and his wife formed StillWater Ministries, Inc. and purchased a 30 acre camp in Southwest Allen County. For 20 years, he has supervised the total operation of this non-profit organization which includes a summer camp for inner city children, ministry training for youth and team-building retreats for church and mission teams. He also developed and administrated an after-school clubhouse outreach in the inner city of Fort Wayne. Jim utilizes his years of ministry and mission work to strengthen families in their home.  The wisdom he has gained from over three decades of working with youth helps him to coach parents how to be relational, authoritative, and loving. Jim also is able to minister to fathers on how to be godly men and how to lead their families in ways which God intends.
