Bio: Tim LaGro received a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary, returning to school later in life after a first career in business management. Tim did his internship at a large community mental health center in Columbus, Ohio prior to moving to Indiana. He worked extensively in community mental health with children and families with a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, family dysfunction, self-harm, foster kids, severe mental illness, and suicidal ideation. Tim led two types of substance abuse groups both with adolescents and adults for three and a half years. Tim takes an integrative approach with helping people consisting of Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy interventions. Tim believes that everyone can change if they choose to and enjoys helping others to find their way through problems and discover what their purpose is in life.
